In June this year I was sent to chase feral goats around North Devon. It’s a little harder than it sounds – they’re reasonably friendly, and generally unthreatened by human presence, but equally shy when you needed them most, so shooting this story on film was a little like burning money at points. Undeterred, I persevered across hill tops and cliff edges in inappropriate footwear to take a series of images that you can find in the link below.
The story is about the goats that live near Lynton in Devon. Appearing in the Domesday Book, they’ve been around for quite a while, and have recently been causing trouble and tension amongst locals residents.
